Hi My name is Asher. I play guitar and sing as a solo musician for wineries, breweries, restaurants, weddings, private parties, and anywhere else that’ll pay me to show up and play. I’ve been doing that for 19 years. I am looking for a SOLID rhythm section. Drums and bass. I used to have a band called Our Satori about 11-12 years ago, but fatherhood took the main seat on my priority list. I’m looking to connect with good hearted people that are professional players, and are willing to put in a bit of work up front together to get tight and solid with eachother as a three piece band with the intention of performing live and making people dance. I have a plethora of originals, and can play about 6 hours of covers as well. I like all kinds of genres, so candidates would need to be willing to play bits rock, soul, funk, jazz, reggae, dance, and whatever else we feel like exploring. I like to have song structures understood and solid, but with the freedom to improvise and communicate musically in a way that makes it our own. If you have experience with using electronic music instruments and know how to incorporate that into the mix I’m open to that idea as well. I want to make people dance again. It’s been a long time for us all. Let’s make people feel good. Your age, gender, and status matter little to me. What’s important is your character, your dependability, your professionalism, and your vibe. I have professional equipment. Please be the same. I have space to practice depending on the hour of day. I also have an electronic drum kit that could be used for off hour times and practice through headphones. I have some recording equipment as well as a large speaker system for loud and clear sound.
