Press release from Everett Community College: April 12, 2022 EVERETT, Wash. – Everett Community College will celebrate the start of construction of the new Cascade Learning Resource Center with a groundbreaking at 2 p.m. on Sept. 16. The in-person event will be held at the future site of the center, 1001 N. Broadway in Everett. The event will also be livestreamed at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84128614617. Event speakers include Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin, Washington 2nd Congressional District U.S. Representative Rick Larsen, Washington state Rep. Emily Wicks and EvCC President Daria Willis. The livesteam and in-person event are open to the public. Those attending in person must wear a mask and complete the college's Trojan Safety Check-In form prior to the start of the groundbreaking.
