We are a growing management company looking for experienced, detail oriented, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. This position is an integral part of the team and ensures all property maintenance, inside and out, is performed to the highest possible standard. This position will perform daily grounds keeping to meet property standards for safety and curb appeal, occupied maintenance as requested by residents and community manager, and unit turn overs as directed by management. This position will service 150 units at two locations and works under the direction of the Community Manager. Your skills: • Minimum 3 years as an apartment maintenance technician • Positive attitude and ability to provide high level of customer service to residents • Ability to coordinate with teammates, residents, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner • Excellent time management with the ability to balance multiple projects at once • General labor including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and other custodial work • Basic carpentry work such as drywall repairs, fitting doors, and use of hand and power tools • Light electrical work such as replacing fixtures and outlets • Light plumbing work such as unclogging drains and replacing fittings • Basic appliance maintenance • Ability to troubleshoot • Interior and exterior painting • Inventory management and ordering • Coordinating and scheduling with vendors Your experience and qualifications: • 3+ years full time residential property maintenance experience • MS Office and property management software (Appfolio strongly preferred) • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record • Reliable transportation • Ability to lift 75 pounds • Work safely and follow safety guidelines • Read, speak, and understand English, multilingual a plus This position is primarily a M-F 8:30-5:30. Responding to after hour emergencies and be on call may be necessary.
