Baltimore County Police: Dispute Leads To Homicide

Press release from the Baltimore County Police Department: April 11, 2022 On Sunday, April 10, at approximately 3 p.m., Baltimore County Police officers responded to the 1200 block of Maiden Choice Ln., 21229 for a report of a motor vehicle collision with injuries. When officers arrived, they located the victim, 52-year-old Joseph Dawson. Medics transported Dawson to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives later determined that Dawson was involved in an argument with a suspect on Maiden Choice Lane near Leeds Avenue. During the argument, the suspect struck Dawson with a vehicle and then left the location. During the course of their investigation, detectives identified 25-year-old Katie Foster as the suspect. Foster was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. She is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
