NEW LONDON, CT — Police said they are investigating a stabbing that occurred Tuesday afternoon and one person sustained "serious, potentially life-threatening injuries." At 3:22 p.m. police responded to the area of Michael Road and Chester Street for a stabbing, police said. A man was taken to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. The incident is under investigation and police are searching for the suspect.
