DARIEN, CT — Police said a truck has been freed from a bridge after responding to a report of a truck colliding with a railroad overpass Tuesday afternoon in Darien. Police said around 12:30 p.m. on Twitter officers were en route to the Post Road and Tokeneke Road area after receiving a report of a truck colliding with a railroad overpass. Drivers were asked to avoid the area. In a subsequent tweet, police said officers reported the truck had been freed from the bridge and both lanes of the Post Road are open as of 12:34 p.m.
