The Elkhorn Service family of companies is growing again, we are currently seeking an experience Inventory Specialist to join our team. Our Inventory Specialist plays an important role in keeping our HVAC Technicians and Electricians stocked with all of the parts they need to meet our customers needs. Daily activities include: • Maintains consistent stock of HVAC and electrical inventory parts, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit based on usage and job orders. • Maintains organization and cleanliness of the parts warehouse. • Replenish truck inventory for field staff. • Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items. • Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery. • Conducts weekly spot and partial audits of physical inventory. • Provides inventory reports to management. • Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors. • Maintains accurate records of goods received and shipments made. • Performs other related duties as requested. The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of inventory management, in a warehouse environment. You must be self motivated with strong organizational skills, enjoys challenges and working in a fast paced team environment. This position requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and reach items that are located both high and low. The use of a ladder is also required. Fork lift certification is a plus.
