Food, Blood Donations Sought For Drive At Ackerman SFC

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Blood donors will have a chance to win a $500 Airbnb gift card if they take part in a food and blood drive slated for April 26 at Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center (SFC). Representatives from Versiti Blood Centers will be on hand from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to collect blood from donors. Appointments are not required, but they are encouraged. Throughout the event, residents can drop off non-perishable food items and personal care items that will be donated to Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.
