Press release from the Town of Perryville: November 24, 2020 The Town of Perryville is asking residents to be vigilant in regards to the light displays at Lower Ferry Park this holiday season. Over the past few weeks several bulbs have been removed from a number of the displays and discarded throughout the property. Given the current state of the economy, purchases within the Town of Perryville are to be essential only. Purchasing of new bulbs is not considered to be an essential purchase. At this point some of the displays will have to be removed as there are not enough operating bulbs to light the displays. We are asking that if anyone has any information in regards to the vandalizing of the displays to please inform the Perryville Police Department or Town Hall. Currently staff members are trying to access the CCTV security cameras located on the property to see if a suspect or suspects can be determined.
