Ready. Set. Summer! Registration for our Ready. Set. Summer! school-based summer programs opens Monday, April 11 atwww.tulsaschools.org/summer. From July 5 to July 29, currently enrolled Tulsa Public Schools students in grades pre-K-12 can participate in free, full-day summer learning and enrichment programs at 21 sites throughout our city! Seating is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Our summer programs will be available Mondays-Fridays and run from 8am-5:15pm for elementary students and 9:15am-4pm for secondary students. We are holding two information sessions to give families a change to learn more and get help with registering: Monday, April 25 from 6pm to 7:30pm at Hawthorne Elementary School (1105 E. 33rd St. N.) Saturday, May 7 from 11am to 12:30pm in Spanish at Disney Elementary School (11702 E. 25th St.) Interpretation will be available at both events. Food will be provided. Second enrollment window is open Did you miss the first enrollment window? Our second enrollment windowis open for pre-kindergarten through 12th grades, and Tulsa children who will be four years old on or before Sept. 1 are eligible for the district's free full-day pre-kindergarten programs. Need help enrolling for the 2022-2023 school year? The Enrollment Center (2819 S. New Haven Ave.) is extending their hours from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, Tuesday, April 19, and Tuesday, April 26; and opening on Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 2022-2023 school calendar On Monday, the Board of Education approved the 2022-2023 school year calendar. The first day of school will be on Thursday, Aug. 18 and the last day will be on Thursday, May 25. You can find a copy of the calendar on our website at www.tulsaschools.org/calendar. Parent Resource Center Spring Extravaganza The Parent Resource Center is hosting their second annual Spring Extravaganza event tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Parent Resource Center at the Alcott Building (525 E. 46th St. N.). Families can meet with schools, enroll for the 2022-2023 school year, and connect with community partners for resources. Free lunch will be provided.
