Golf is having a moment – with its physical, mental, and social benefits, the sport has become one of the best options to improve your health and wellness (Nine holes of golf is equivalent to a 2.5-mile walk) as we spring into a new season. This has led to a renewed perception of the game – with women and juniors making up a large portion of new golfers. With that, PGA TOUR Superstore, the nation’s leading experiential golf retailer, is opening their first store in North Carolina, marking their 53rd store nationwide. The new location will be located at 5341 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte, NC. This new store is just the beginning of PGA TOUR Superstore’s exciting year of grand openings across the country. With more than 50 golf courses in the metro area, Charlotte is an obvious market PGA Tour Superstore has sought to expand its brand to for a number of years. To celebrate the grand opening on Saturday, April 16 at 9:00am, PGA TOUR Superstore will offer $30,000 in giveaways throughout the weekend including iron sets, drivers, wedges, putters, and men and women’s apparel and accessories. In addition, as part of the long-standing commitment to First Tee, they will donate $15,000 to the local First Tee affiliated branch, First Tee Greater Charlotte, in an effort to bolster the shift towards a more inclusive game for all. PGA Tour Superstores offer in-house custom club fittings and repair, along with lessons from certified teaching professionals. Other attractions include practice hitting bays with swing analysis software, interactive simulators an expansive putting green and club repair. The assortment includes clubs, accessories, footwear and a large assortment of apparel for all. In addition to golf merchandise, PGA TOUR Superstore also sells tennis (and pickleball) equipment, accessories and apparel. With the surge of new golfers over the past two years, beginners and golf enthusiasts in the Charlotte-area can now work on their swing in two of PGA TOUR Superstore’s state-of-the-art fitting STUDIOs, as well as seven simulators and practice bays that allow customers to play a variety of courses virtually. Expect to see dozens of brands of apparel and footwear in demand – from Belyn Key and TravisMathew to Lily Pulitzer and William Murray, and so much more.  See you there!
