Position available for a Material Handler. We are seeking an energetic, detail- oriented person to work in a warehouse setting. Must be proficient in warehouse inventory database systems and programs. This position requires forklift certification and medical card. Must be organized, punctual, and dependable. The Material Handler works closely with the foreman and crew. The ability to work in a team environment, with many personality types is vital. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, follow instructions, and communicate effectively. Specific tasks in the Material Handler’s job description include, but are not limited to: Handle material, tools, and equipment as directed. Load and unload materials. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds safely, according to OSHA guidelines and standards. Must be able to operate a forklift. Note: this is a union position covered by the IBEW. You will be need to join the union if you are not already a member.
