Hey Everyone, I hope this is allowed on this thread but here it goes…I’m searching for individuals who are interested in being interviewed for a new YouTube show called “Chats With Strangers”. The show’s premise is as the title describes. I have an online video chat with somebody I’ve never met before and have an in-depth conversation about who they are, what their background is, what’s happening in the world, and whatever else comes up in the discussion. The result will hopefully be an entertaining discussion that shows others that striking up a conversation with someone you don’t know can provide a satisfying experience and give you a true connection to another human. So here’s how it works: • You sign up to be a guest using the show’s online Calendly booking platform: https://calendly.com/chatswithstrangers/chats-with-strangers-interview • Once signed up, you’ll receive confirmation and reminder emails about the interview with a Zoom meeting link to join • We both jump on the Zoom call and have a 60-to-90-minute discussion getting to know each other and talking about your life and whatever else comes up To participate, there are a few conditions: • You MUST have an interesting story to tell or be a very interesting person that loves to talk and have conversations. This is a show for entertainment so if you speak softly or don’t feel comfortable sharing your story completely, it will not work. • You will be asked personal questions and will need to feel comfortable talking about your past, your present feelings on various topics and not get easily offended or put guards up when out of your comfort zone (this is the hardest thing to do when you’re speaking with someone you don’t know while being recorded but that’s the reason, we’re doing this). • You must be honest about who you are, and you cannot promote anything. • You must be in a quiet environment during the interview and cannot be interrupted by anything including children, spouses, significant others, pets, or outside noises or interferences. If there are interruptions, the interview will be stopped and come to an end. • You must be at least 21 years old. • You must be able to speak comfortably and don’t mind being recorded on video. • You must have a device with a camera and a decent microphone. Most smartphones work just fine but I recommend putting the phone on a stand so it’s not moving in your hand or uncomfortable to hold for the length of the interview. • You will need to be available for approximately 90 minutes.
