HELP - question about Reddit

When posting, I tend to include a relevant photo that accompanies the post. I have an Android phone and I've cleared the Reddit cache. The problem -- Almost all the time, Reddit displays a small blue box instead of the pic. The picture is only visible if you tap the photo but otherwise, it only shows this little blue box. I've messed with settings many times and nothing works. When I adjust the "thumbnails" setting, the result is the same --- no matter what I set it to. Help !
