The Southeastern Philharmonic Orchestra presents a Spring Concert
on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:30 pm at the Whitman Town Hall, 54 South Ave, Whitman, MA.
Admission is free; monetary or non-perishable goods for donation to the Whitman Food Pantry will be accepted.
Conductor Max Hobart, 30-year violinist and Assistant Concert Master of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, will lead the SPO in a concert featuring a combination of “Boston Pops” and classical numbers, including songs from Nimrod,
The Sound of Music, March of the Siamese Children, Finlandia, and ET Flying Theme.
Band music students grade 4 and up are invited to meet musicians at 1:30 PM. Must be accompanied by an adult.
This concert is sponsored by the Whitman Cultural Council.
The SPO, a 501(c)(3) organization, is one of the oldest, continuously operating community orchestras in the USA.
