Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate Japan Gold USA is seeking an individual that is eager to put their skills to work for a company specializing in food manufacturing and distribution. Position Description Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Reading pick tickets; picking and packing orders • Packing orders carefully and accurately, according to instructions • Restocking inventory bins • Re-palletizing products according to instructions • Restocking inventory bins • Participating in inventory counts • Maintaining a safe, clean warehouse; sweep, take out trash, etc. • Other duties as assigned • Supporting other departments as needed • Opportunities for advancement as we grow Minimum Requirements: • Basic computer and math skills • Proficient in English; speaking, reading and writing • Able to lift 50lb often and be on your feet 8 hrs per day • Attention to detail and accuracy • Dependable and on time; reliable transportation • Self-starter who takes initiative • Excellent attendance and reliability • Excellent communication skills • Ability to consistently meet goals and deadlines • High school diploma, some college or college degree • Availability Monday through Thursday 8 AM to 4:30 PM The following additional skills and qualifications are a plus: • Forklift experience • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Great Plains or similar inventory type software. • Knowledge of natural foods, macrobiotics, vegan or vegetarian diets or gluten free foods • Bi-lingual is a plus Qualified candidates should possess these personal skills and attributes: • Ambitious, motivated, goal-oriented individual • Strong teamwork skills • Self-managed, very organized and detail-oriented • Quick learner • Strong work ethic To apply for this position, please reply to this ad and attach a copy of your resume or work history.
