Lead Finished Carpenter and Carpenter helpers Our Company Kempf Construction Clean-up is looking for a lead finish carpenters and carpenter helpers to join our team. You will be collaborating with a project manager and leading a crew to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made out various materials. Structures may include building and framing homes, door and window frames, cabinets, trim, deck install, and siding projects. You must have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment; a flexible schedule is required Monday-Friday. Compensation is market-competitive and commensurate with experience. $500 signing bonus is provided after 90 working days of employment for Lead finish carpenters and $250 signing bonus is provided after 90 working days of employment for carpenter helpers. Willing to provide on the job training for anyone looking to get into the construction field. Great opportunities for hard working individuals to learn valuable skills in an ever expanding market. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting building and products. Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities · Read and interpret blue prints and to understand project specifications · Take measurements and calculate the size and number of materials needed for the job · Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements · Build window frames, door frames, trim, install MDF mill work molding, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items · Install cabinets and siding · Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance needed · Comply with all company safety guidelines Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent · Ability to lead a crew effectively to finish a project with precision and on a timely manner · Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction. · Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools. · Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity · Reliable transportation and valid Drivers License · Ability to complete jobs on time · Excellent communication · Have an eye for details
