SUMMIT, NJ — At a meeting over the summer, the Summit Common Council established a Silver Summit Senior Citizens Advisory Committee with the mission to coordinate volunteers and organizations. It will establish a social safety net for Summit senior citizens to help direct senior residents to available resources provided by non-profits and the city, county, state, and federal governments.
