Route Delivery Driver - Dry Cleaner

Excellent opportunity to join 35 year old, internationally recognized, quality dry cleaner located in the Scottsdale Airpark (close to Hwy 101/Raintree Drive). We are seeking an experienced route driver to pickup and deliver dry cleaning, laundry and related items along our pre-established routes. Our service area is mostly Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Arcadia, Biltmore, Carefree and the Central Avenue Corridor. This position REQUIRES: * Proven record of responsibility, punctuality and efficiency * Ability to work indoors and outdoors * Appropriate physical fitness for the job (including ability to lift up to 30 pounds) * Clean driving record * Clean police/criminal record * Neat, clean cut appearance * Friendly, helpful, "can do" attitude. Prior experience working as a route driver (UPS, Arrowhead and similar companies) is a plus, but not a requirement. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus, but not a requirement. Position is male/female neutral. Duties include: * Organize and load packaged garments into van * Drive to customer locations (mostly homes) along a pre-established route * Carefully hang orders in a designated delivery spot at a customer's home or office * Pickup nylon bags of cleaning from the designated pickup spot * Return incoming bags to our plant * Complete appropriate paperwork (listing client name/number of bags received) * Provide excellent customer service/maintain relationships with our clients (in the unlikely event you make contact) * Maintain van(s) in reasonably clean condition * Notify management of the need for regularly-scheduled vehicle services and/or repairs NO SELLING REQUIRED OR EXPECTED. Your primary duty are to make your deliveries and pick up nylon bags containing items to be cleaned. Please note: * You must have your own, reliable transportation to and from work. * You must have legal authorization to work (pass E-Verify) * You must be drug/alcohol free * You must be a non-smoker (tobacco and e-cigs) * You must pass a background check administered by an outside party * You must pass a check of all business references (covering a minimum of the past 5 years).
