NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY!! Canyon State Inspection Inc. (CSI) is seeking Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Assistants to support our Chandler, AZ. location. NDT experience is not required. This position includes NDT education and training with the opportunity to obtain both Level I and Level II certifications in all methods of NDT. Responsibilities and Duties: Assist Level II NDT technicians complete various types of NDT inspections both in our facility as well as clients job sites. • Set up and breakdown of equipment • Surface prep • Assist in applying testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results • Organize and report test results • Perform specialized inspections • Perform other job related tasks as assigned Skills Required: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Shop math and reading skills • Must be willing to train in NDT • Ability to use basic computer functions for data entry • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Working overtime as requested • Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated • Dependable • Mechanical aptitude • Exceptional attention to detail • Willingness to travel Must be able to meet the following physical demands: • Climbing-ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps • Stooping, bending, crouching, reaching • Standing-up to 95% of shift • Walking, pushing, pulling • Lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
