Description
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A jack-knifed tractor-trailer closed Interstate 95 north near exit 64 for more than three hours Wednesday. The highway reopened by 2:30 p.m., according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
Three vehicles crashed before 10:45 a.m., authorities reported.
I-95 was closed to northbound traffic past the exit for I-695, and traffic was detoured from I-95 onto I-695; however, traffic on the Express Toll Lanes (which do not have I-695 access) flowed as usual.
Alternate routes included US 40, US 1 and MD 7.
Above, a tow was working in the area of the crash after 1 p.m., which also required a fuel spill cleanup, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority. Photos courtesy of CHART. See the latest lane closure information from state transportation officials.
