Belair Road Reopens After Utility Issue: SHA

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A problem with utilities prompted the right-lane closure on a stretch of Belair Road Monday afternoon. The 0.2-mile section of Belair Road between Forge Road and Honeygo Boulevard was closed for several hours, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. The lane closure was expected to last until about 6:30 p.m., officials said around 2:30 p.m., but the time frame was later extended. Before 10 p.m., authorities said all lanes on Belair Road had reopened.
