BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Transportation is the topic of the Northeast Area Education Advisory Council's upcoming meeting. The regular gathering will be Monday, Nov. 18.
There are five area councils that represent different parts of the county. They act as a liaison between the community and Baltimore County Board of Education.
In the northeastern part of the county in particular, many parents had concerns at the start of the school year because of buses that were late and/or overcrowded.
Changes were reportedly made to the bus schedule at the beginning of the school year that called into question classroom time and student safety.
