Description
We need to rehome our very sweet girl, let me tell you the good and the bad. We got her at a year old from what we believed was a reputable breeder, had her flown to us from out of state, upon arrival we immediately knew she had been treated poorly. Her coat was dull, skin flaky, ears horribly infected and pact with feces. She was terrified of everything and everyone, aside from me and my girls. She somehow knew we were going to take care of her. I had originally added her to our family to be a potential Mama dog, which I decided against after seeing what she’d been through. It took a year plus of working with her to help her trust people, especially men and to not fear every noise, every new place. She’s now house broken, sleeps in bed with our teen daughters most nights. She has always been wonderful with all kids, she loves other dogs, we have a few. She is great in the house, when we’re away for a bit (shopping, errands, etc) we have her in our large kennel inside our garage with a big bed and access to water. She can be a picky eater but has been doing well with her current food. She stays out of most things in the house- but she’s a dog. If she has no water out she’s been caught toilet drinking, ick. If there’s something really good smelling on the counter, she’ll go for it if you leave her enough time and opportunity. She chases our outdoor cat, barks back at our neighbors barking dogs, and has caught a chicken or two. She’s goofy, fun and loving…so so loving, she wants to be on you when you’re sitting and your shadow when you’re up walking around. Her ideal home would be with a woman, kids, and a man if he’s a calm and gentle man. If you have dogs that’s great too. Due to personal issues I’m needing to find her a forever family.
