White Marsh Firefighters Handle Trash Compactor Fire At Lowe's

NOTTINGHAM, MD — Firefighters contained a blaze inside the Lowe's in White Marsh Monday night, according to the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company. Crews were called to the store in Nottingham Square in the 5300 block of Campbell Boulevard. Before 7:30 p.m., the fire company reported its personnel found a fire inside the trash compactor, and while there was smoke, the fire did not spread in the store. Crews took the trash compactor away from the building, according to the fire company.
