Miller Beach Vacation Rentals is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as a Maintenance Runner and Groundskeeper. We are looking for a multi-talented individual that can be an integral part of the guest experience. This part-time entry level position is perfect for someone with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Basic groundskeeping including snow blowing and shoveling in winter, lawn care in summer Assist with hot tub cleaning, testing, and maintenance Pick up orders from local Menards and return items as needed in company provided vehicle Transport supplies, equipment, and materials to properties as needed in company provided vehicle Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing furnace filters, lightbulbs, tightening loose furniture/doorknobs, etc. This position reports directly to the Vacation Rental Maintenance Supervisor Requirements Flexible schedule required. This includes the ability to work primarily outside of standard business hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to clean hot tubs and accurately adjust water chemistry Must have a valid driver’s license and be insured Must have own reliable transportation to/from work, but will have use company vehicle while running company errands Must own Smartphone to communicate and access company maintenance app Effective communicator, prompt, courteous and exhibit a customer service mentality Work well with other team members and follow instructions Must be able to lift 75 lbs High School diploma or equivalent Compensation Hourly pay starts at $14/hour Job Type: Part-time but could expand to Full Time (especially during Spring, Summer and Fall times of year) Note: Before hiring, candidates will be subject to a background investigation, including criminal background and driving record.
