There are many Putin supporters in that geographical area. Bennett went to see Putin for a long talk about Ukraine. After that Bennett tried to convince Zelensky to accept Putin's proposal of neutrality. Zelensky wanted to accept Putin's offer with modification. However Biden interfered falsely in the name of democracy and integrity of Ukraine, which means getting back Crimea also. Blinken is pretty well aware of this and has dragged feet but went along with Biden's decision. It seems Biden shows this as an opportunity to hurt Putin badly so that he may get overthrown. What was unknown in the beginning was Ukraine's strength. Biden's resolve with no teeth to win and Putin's very poor strategy. I have written to President Biden and told him this is not Putin war but your war. I also included in the letter his religious obligation and different take on Israel-Palestine land issues. I have not received a reply to this as I have to other letters. This picking things a piecemeal here and there and concluding like it is whole is unreal. When you add to American Bias, it gets even troublesome. Let me say, the Russia story is very complicated with our President even during Clinton. Immediately after Clinton's contentious meeting with Yeltsin, Yeltsin resigned, appointing Putin. What is not talked about is Why Putin will do this to have Ukraine a neutral country. Putin estimated after aggression and not stopping sanctions, he decided that normalcy is never going to happen. Russia can never grow economically or progress politically or will have normal trade. sanction is like a war. It is like one leg chopped off. Negotiation with Trump did not work perhaps because of possible impact on his re-election. Then Biden came to power. Biden had problem with Russia and love of Ukraine from his first term in Congress. He pushed Obama but Obama wants no part of it. Obama got an opportunity. I am sure his son chimed along. Son's party time and lots of connection and small thinking of making money combined. I thought Putin would overthrow Zelensky and corrupt the top brass of the Ukrainian Army and pour lots of Army light speed into Kiev and take over, quickly appoint a new President. Stupidest thing his general did was repeating a long convoy of tanks. Very vulnerable. With Jewish heavy administration who are not ready to span out in a country and or bad strategy hurts Biden. It will be hard to send them to small states or to black audiences who just do not quite have a feel of Americana's. Zelensky wanted to have an agreement and his foreign minister said he would rather not have one more Ukrainian killed and have peace. Russia has lost a lot. Putin would like to end sanctions for peace. Biden lost a big face to agree. Europe will accept peace and end of sanctions because European people rather have their economy and services and life than they care for Ukraine or Russia or the American economy. If we are stuck here and also want to have a fight with China..it is going to be a long winding road like Oregon of Mormon trails.
