Love working with kids and looking for fun part time summer work? We are looking for part time substitutes for our summer camp. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:30pm. This is not an on call job. Subs can say yes or no to offered shifts. Shifts are either 4 hours or 8 hours and staff contact subs when they want to schedule time off. Ideally the sub job is for someone interested in year round flexible work, however if you are available from June 27th through September 2nd that would work. You need not be available all days or hours to apply, but please be generally available through the end of August to apply. Subs work an average of 16-24 hours a week, but can work as many as 40 for some weeks. Work for a great organization! Green Lake School Age Care Program (GLSA) is a state licensed, nonprofit social and emotional learning based child care program dedicated to creating meaningful relationships with children and working together with families to help raise caring, socially aware, happy and emotionally intelligent young people. Job duties: Staff provide a fun, playful and safe environment for children, facilitate planned activities, oversee outdoor play and help children with any social or emotional difficulties they experience. Staff also maintain the Covid safety practices throughout the day. Job requirements: Staff are required to pass a back ground check upon hiring, be CPR/1st Aid certified or complete upon hiring, provide documentation of a negative TB test. All staff must be vaccinated, boosted and willing to maintain the Department of Health guidelines we follow while employed with us. The program pays for/ reimburses for the cost of all required certifications.
