I am a PNW dog trainer who spent the last seven years on the west side of the mountains - and I’m back in the area. I’m looking to help train dogs in any area between Ellensburg and Tri-Cities. A little about me: • Outgoing • Dog lover • Consistent • Punctual • Responsible • Dog training A little about my training background: • 12+ years in the industry • Last 7 years of my job history are working as a dog trainer for one training based dog daycare and training facility • Mostly +R based with knowledge in balanced training techniques (prong, e-collar, etc.) • No breed restrictions • No size restrictions • Specializes in reactive dog cases • Specializes in herding breeds/terriers • Skilled in puppy early socialization • Previously trained service dogs • Intra-household dog relationships • Dog-to-dog introductions • Agility instructor, AKC trick training and AKC CGC certified evaluator • Well educated in Canine Body Language (well over 200+ hours of training) • Highly recomended by clients where I previously lived A little about my dogs: • Reggie: 3YO Border Collie: service/task trained, sweetest thing on four legs, plays well with dogs large and small. • Lillie: 12YO Border Collie: service/task trained, trick trained, deliverer of corrections. • Rylee: 13YO Rat Terrier - MY first pet dog: trick trained, used to be fairly aggressive with dogs (a significant bite history with other dogs, but was all fear related), but I have since rehabbed him and he can now mingle with most dog groups unmuzzled. • Nugget: 10YO Italian Greyhound: rescued, super sweet, plays well with dogs of all sizes, a little standoffish with humans initially but warms up quickly.
