Whether you're a high-minded connoisseur of only the finest cinema, or just a B-movie buff with a bookcase full of bootleg DVDs, have we got the show for you! The Midnight Gardeners League, DC's only comedy secret society, is premiering its newest show premise: a live event where funny folks do a set of stand-up, and then have to come up with a movie pitch based on their jokes. And to raise the stakes, we'll have one of Tinseltown's most celebrated directors on hand to give the thumbs up or thumbs down on these aspiring auteurs. The Midnight Gardeners serve up off-the-wall satire, combining sketch comedy, improv and stand-up to tackle pop culture in a way you won't forget. In the past they've brought us an induction ceremony for the Soft Rock Hall of Fame, a takedown of celebrity chefs, a talk show for the ages, a hillbilly hoedown and more. TICKETS ARE $10
