Charlette needs a new home. Charlette is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met – and I’ve had plenty of kitties in my day. I’ve joked that she’s not really a cat, that she’s a dog in a cat’s body. This is because she does not have your typical catitude. She is sweet and happiest while sitting on your lap, laying in your arms, and being held like a baby. Charlette is 5 years old, despite her small size. Her vet shared that she was likely premature or the runt of her litter, which is why she is so small. Because of her size and her sweetness, she can be the target of a bully-cat. Charlette is a lover, and loved to cuddle all day with another cat I had for two years. However, something happened and that cat became dominant toward Charlette. Because of her small size and sweet personality, Charlette could not defend herself. So, Charlette is good with other cats, but if the cat is dominant, it won’t be a good fit. Charlette is most comfortable with women. She warms up to men, but warms up more quickly to a woman. She is a total lap-cat and I hope to find her a home where she can snuggle with her new owner as much as possible. I’m very sad to be finding Charlette a new home. I am rehoming because of a major change with my work life and housing. Charlette has been home alone far too often and this has been very hard on this social and loving kitty. All of her shots are up to date – most recently saw the vet in November where she had a clean bill of health. Charlette will come with food, a fancy food dispenser, a very fancy and easy to clean litter box, litter, water bowl, and toys.
