Description
Responsible for the general upkeep, inspection and repair of multiple agency facilities, including residential homes and condominiums. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall work, repair and painting of doors, windows and walls. Ensuring mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary. Assignments shall be limited to general repairs and improvements not requiring the services of a licensed contractor. Must possess a valid California driver’s license and meet insurance requirements to operate agency vehicle. Skills: · Basic understanding of building and property maintenance including inspections. · Use and operate required tools and equipment · Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition · Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision · Attention to detail and problem solving. · Good communication skills including phone, email, and text · Ability to use software to manage your work. (Helpdesk) · Friendly customer service · Maintain positive work relationships · Follow the highest degree of sound safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment · Requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
