START NOW!!!!!! ** We are looking for reliable and responsible candidate for Blending Operator, in Kearny, NJ** Full Job Description Blending Operator The Blending Operator is responsible for the day-to-day safe operations of the Technical Mix/Blending Room. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for making all batches size and all aspects of the blending department processes. Must accurately weigh all materials per Job Sheet for amount of product to be packaged, the chemicals to be used, processing & packaging instructions. Prepares workstation area by staging raw materials & tools, setting process controls & configure, and/or packaging supplies utilizing a forklift. Report any variance in weighing or equipment to the supervisor so to maintain consistency in all mixes Must maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards Follow all job procedures as written in the Quality Assurance Manual Must wear respiratory protection when working in the mix room or performing other tasks in the warehouse or production facilities. Safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection and steel toed boots/shoes are required to be worn at all times in production areas The employee shall maintain compliance with all SCC Safety Standards as well as EHS rules/requirements of the site at all times Position will entail standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds throughout shift. Successful applicants should be very detail-oriented and able to work with little supervision. Work Environment: Typical machine shop environment, including exposure to sharp edges, pinch points, powered rotating equipment, shavings, chips, dust, chemicals and noise. Safety glasses, hard hats, hearing Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Hourly Pay rate: $16 (with Forklift Certification) MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION!!! Benefits offered: Health Care Sick Pay
