Hello. Anyone up for some adult fun.. I'm Female available now and looking... Txt or email me for more information.., ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' 24 year old guy, just moved to Boise. I've been playing acoustic guitar for a few years, but not much jam/improv style stuff. Looking for somebody to casually jam with and get better, open to any skill levels OK, its a high bar, but... recent Bay Area transplant misses jamming with his deep funk bands... "The Zins" were Tower of Power, AWB, John Cleary, LTD, Steely Dan, Santana, Spencer Davis, War, etc This band was at the top of our game and then I moved (escaped) here to amazing Idaho. I'm now looking for an accomplished SAX player & bass player, possibly percussion as well to recreate this band. I have two REAL vintage 1946 & 1953 Hammond B3's + Leslies (one in Wilder, one in Eagle), and a Nord Stage 3 AND I have the chops to pull it off (once I dust them off!). Each rehearsal spot has a professional drum kit, Mesa boogie bass rig and pro sound system. And a singing drummer and guitar player who are both very accomplished. I am singer songwriter and guitar player and I am looking for a bassist and drummer (and maybe lead or slide guitarist) to help me perform some songs I've recorded live. I have a regular day job and am mainly interested in meeting laid back but responsible musicians who like good music and to have fun playing it. I don't need virtuosos- the stuff I write is pretty simple with a focus on lyrics and feeling. These are the influences: Neil Young+ Crazy Horse, Terry Allen, Magnolia Electric Co., Dinosaur Jr., Wilco, Michael Hurley, Velvet Underground. I'm interested to see who's out there, and if something might work out. Hit me up.But it was always known that the song could lean towards a more heavier hard rock type feel instead of a lighter southern rock texture which Greg was listening to when the song began to grow. While recording almost 30 years later, Greg was leaning more towards a cutting edge version of the song with more powerful intensity, but his 2nd cousin steered him towards that traditional classic southern rock style with a twangy guitar lead using country flavored bends when Greg nailed it through his 2nd Cousin's ingenious musical talent. It was a good call on Brian Sagrafena's part who persuaded We play old standards and originals, mainly at night clubs. We enjoy playing. Practice 2-3 times/wk. Playing more gigs soon. If you are reliable, and willing to learn if necessary, contact us.
