Looking for a male to have fun with. In & out of the bedroom. ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' 24 year old guy, just moved to Boise. I've been playing acoustic guitar for a few years, but not much jam/improv style stuff. Looking for somebody to casually jam with and get better, open to any skill levels OK, its a high bar, but... recent Bay Area transplant misses jamming with his deep funk bands... "The Zins" were Tower of Power, AWB, John Cleary, LTD, Steely Dan, Santana, Spencer Davis, War, etc This band was at the top of our game and then I moved (escaped) here to amazing Idaho. I'm now looking for an accomplished SAX player & bass player, possibly percussion as well to recreate this band. I have two REAL vintage 1946 & 1953 Hammond B3's + Leslies (one in Wilder, one in Eagle), and a Nord Stage 3 AND I have the chops to pull it off (once I dust them off!). Each rehearsal spot has a professional drum kit, Mesa boogie bass rig and pro sound system. And a singing drummer and guitar player who are both very accomplished. I'm simply looking to create a jam situation for now w/ *possible* gigs or parties with highly functioning players who know how to play FUNK. The older you are the better (I'm 57), but I know some of you young bucks can bring the funk as well and have stellar jazz chops. Just don't bring drama/drugs.However the words did slightly change through the decades along with the way it was strummed acoustically. NWe are a band with out a bass player and a drummer. I play lead guitar with a singer. We have around 15 cover tunes that we play pretty good. We have done open mics and have gotten great crowd reaction! We need two people, bass player and a drummer. Rythm guitar is welcomed. We want someone that wants to commit to start performing with us. Lead guitarist looking for musicians to form a band or join an established or working band. Experienced in classic rock, southern rock, blues and hard rock. Many years experience, great gear, transportation, dedicated, stage experience, easy to get along with and team player.
