Yo Philly! We are Philly Street Signs (@PhillyStreetSigns), a local small business started in 2018 by a couple of Temple grads, we make personalized Philly street signs into full-size, metal replicas! We also do many other products like magnets, stickers, mugs, wedding table toppers, towels, and more. We need people to run our vendor table at local pop-up markets and vendor events in and around the city - but don't worry it's SUPER easy! We don't care at all if you sell anything at all, the whole point is to just advertise our products and answer people's questions as they stop by the table. 90% of the job is literally just sitting in a chair behind the table and saying to people: "Yes, we can do your street name and put any picture you want on it" (trust us, you'll get this one a lot lol.) Equipment: Despite being a small business, we have our stuff together, literally. We have a rolling duffel bag with everything you'll need inside of it, a lightweight folding table, and a comfy camping chair to chill in. Plus, we have a white binder with step-by-step instructions on how to setup, run, and breakdown the table to make the process as easy as possible. Travel: Most events are in the city but are across all neighborhoods, with possibly a few in the suburbs. You can pick any or all events you want to work, if you just want to do events in your area, that's cool too. A car is not required, however does make life easier since you'll need to transport a few items to and from the events. If you're a good fit but don't have a car, still reach out, as we can work out Uber/Lyft situations or coordinate drop-offs for some events. *** We need reliable people, as once we commit to an event and pay the vendor fee, it's nonrefundable and it looks really, really bad for our company if we no-show at an event (this often will result in us not being invited back the next year.) *** If this all sounds good, just send a paragraph about who you are, your connection to Philly, and what areas of Philly you'd be willing to do events in.
