This year we are partnering with another company for high quality high volume deck refinishing service. Looking for an independent, motivated self starter ready for a fun challenge. Introduce yourself to the homeowner or find your partner. Unload your equipment. Decks need to be cleaned and prepped. This will involve a light environmentally friendly chemical cleaning and power wash rinse. This is the first step. The deck needs to dry till the next day when you come back to stain it. Before staining, sanding with a large floor sander may or may not be required. Some sanding with a handheld random orbital sander is usually required. This is where you will make other repairs as outlined in the work order, if needed. I use a variety of stains, from semi transparent oils to solid body acrylics. Jobs vary by size, difficulty and time required. At the end of your day you should feel good about the work you've done and being able to help others who appreciate skill and craftsmanship. Ideally you will develop a nice prep/stain rhythm.
