Hiring Immediately- Experienced Maintenance Technician – Property Management Company 40 hours per week Work Location: Indio, CA Job Type: Full-time Maintenance Technician needed for a 200 unit multifamily property. Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred. Be available on-call for after-hours emergencies. Looking for a well-rounded candidate with the following Trades: Tile, Framing, Drywall, Patching, Painting, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, etc. Qualifications: • Pick-Up Truck, Driver License and Vehicle Insurance (required) • 2-years experience in maintenance or other related fields such as, construction (required) • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment (must have own tools) • Ability to handle physical workload (required) • Must provide 3-professional references (previous or current bosses, managers, supervisors – no friends or family!) • Must meet requirement of legal right to work in the U.S.A. (required) • Must be able to pass background check (required) Physical Requirements: • Frequent standing, sitting, walking the property grounds, stooping, bending, twisting, climbing stairs kneeling, climbing ladders, regularly lifting, or carrying objects up to 75 lbs. Responsibilities: • Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion • Perform routine preventative maintenance • Maintain material and supply inventory • Oversee work performed by outside contractors, as necessary • Deadline and detail oriented Pay and benefits: • $20.00 up to $25.00 per hour depending on experience, knowledge and references • 3 Sick Days each year and 1-week paid vacation after completion of one year of employment • Paychecks or direct deposit on 5th and 20st of each month
