I wrote a song over 40 years ago that impresses EVERYONE I sing it to, but I'm not good enough to accompany myself and do it justice. Now there's this America Song Contest TV show and I want to enter my song. The only song I can compare it to melodically is "You Give Me Fever" the old Jazz Standard, but my melody is totally different. It goes back and forth from 12 bars to 16 bars. The only musician who I gave personal permission to sing it is Steven Longfellow Fisk, but he's back in LA County Ca. Willing to pay $25 per hour for your time. More if you're good enough.
