ob description Janitorial Crew Leader/Supervisor Position Purpose Provide supervision and training to employees working in the janitorial department of Eastco while assuring positive work behaviors and quality work. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the all assigned facilities cleaned routinely on afternoon and evening shifts. Strive for increased efficiencies with resources utilized by the department. Environment Position requires working afternoons and evenings with some weekends and holidays to be scheduled based on special cleaning projects. Position requires minimal heavy lifting in excess of 50 pounds, possible exposure to hazardous chemicals, ability to operate power tools and/or mechanized industrial equipment, and standing/walking for extensive periods. Position requires working with individuals with disabilities and who may pose a physical threat. Carrying a company supplied cell phone while on duty is also required. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS Ensure employees complete cleaning requirements according to contract specification. Provide training to employees to assist them in maximizing work performance. Provide accurate written performance evaluations of employees. Operate, repair and maintain equipment according to acceptable safety practices. Train crew members on the proper use of appropriate equipment. Qualifications Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience in commercial cleaning preferred Experience in training and supervision Experience operating commercial cleaning equipment Experience with hard floor care including stripping and waxing Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods. Valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance. Hours-Monday thru Friday 12:00-8:00pm (Occasional Weekends) Pay:14.00-17.50/hour Drives Company Van including team. MUST BE COVID VACCINATED PRIOR TO START DATE
