San Diego Select Detailing - Pacific Beach's #1 Auto Detailing Service! Job Description Employees will be deployed throughout The City of San Diego to detail vehicles at the homes of our clients. In addition to having a high attention to detail and strong work ethic, you must be able to move customer cars, adapt, and improvise in unfamiliar working environments. We are looking for employees that can closely follow instructions and execute directions quickly and effectively. We are looking for candidates with a passion for cars and who are eager to perfect their craft and learn more about auto detailing every day.  Requirements: -18 years or older -Active driver's license and clean driving record -Able to pass drug test (In accordance with California Law) -High-school graduate or equivalent degree -Ability to work in a physically demanding position that requires frequent movement; i.e. bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into and out of various vehicles repeatedly during the work shift Qualifications: -Previous detailing experience (Must be verifiable) -Experience operating power tools and machinery -Strong interpersonal and communication ability -Experience installing ceramic coatings is highly favored Responsibilities: -To wash, clean, valet and detail vehicles inside and out to an exceptionally high standard, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. -Communicate with clients over the phone and in person to coordinate arrival time and other logistics -Interior and Exterior vehicle detailing including windows, wheels and tires, console detailing, engine bay, headlight restoration, clay treatment, hand waxing, polishing etc. -Cleaning out vacuum receptacle, changing vacuum filter, filling spray bottles and gallon containers, Mytee extractor maintenance, changing oil in the generator, and other basic equipment upkeep. -Identify any faults on the vehicles and report as necessary.
