IMMEDIATELY HIRING - This position will require the individual help get apartments ready for move in as well as light maintenance in occupied homes. Knowledge of light maintenance is preferred but training is available to the right candidate. This is an opportunity to learn maintenance skills and grow within the maintenance field. A good candidate should be able to work without being monitored and still be productive. We are specifically looking for an individual who is a team player, someone who will take ownership of the properties and pride in their work. We offer housing discounts and gas stipend. We are hiring a teammate. Some duties will be as follows:
-Vacant unit prep / paint
-Vacant unit maintenance & upgrades (lights, blinds, hardware...etc.)
-Trashing out units (may include tossing out furniture at times, ability to lift and carry heavy items is preferred)
-Keeping property grounds clean daily
-Reporting to Manager & Maintenance Supervisor
-Ability to use phone apps for work order assignments
-Must be able to articulate the work performed in writing so residents are aware of the repair steps taken
-Must be able to speak to residents professionally and with kindness
-Use basic hand tools (provided)
-Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC knowledge are helpful but will train the right candidate
The position will require some travel between two properties located about 5 miles apart. Gas stipend is provided. Phone stipend is provided. Each maintenance technician rotates being on call, one week on and two-three weeks off (depending on tech number). Reliable transportation is required. Work Week: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5PM. Holiday Closing, PTO, Sick Leave, 401k. Discount for housing.
