Description

Come join us for a great night of music featuring Glitterfox and Flyover States live at Green Anchors PDX in St. John's. Sunday, May 1, 2022 Doors: 5p Show: 6-9p Tickets: Advance: $15 / Door: $20 Venue Website: https://www.greenanchorspdx.com Green Anchors PDX is a 7 acre eco-industrial park with green and creative tendencies, situated on the north shore of the Willamette River, just downstream of the St Johns Bridge. Glitterfox is the indie folk project of married couple Solange Igoa and Andrea Walker with the more recent addition of their best friend, Eric Stalker, on bass. Born in 2012 in the backyard house party scene of Long Beach, CA, Glitterfox first found an audience with their rough-around-the-edges Americana dubbed “sheer acoustic awesomeness” in the Long Beach Post. With some local success and a hunger for life on the highway the couple next moved into a van and spent two years living on the road, gigging night after night up and down the west coast. In 2018 Glitterfox settled down in Portland, OR to begin work on their debut album Fringe which features fan favorites “Honey” and “Kentucky Night.” Glitterfox’s newest album Night, engineered and co-produced with David Jacobs-Strain will be released May 1, 2022. www.glitterfox.org Flyover States is the Portland based trio comprised of Aaron Elliott, Steven Patton, and Jessica Rose Patton. Together the three create modern folk music that is centered around complex vocal arrangements and dynamic harmonies. In 2019 Flyover States recorded their debut album, “Octaves”, which includes songs composed by all three members individually as well as their first joint collaborations. Jessica and Steven were married in the Fall of 2020 and the band recorded and released their second full length album “Artifacts” in 2021. Artifacts expands on the group's signature harmony based sound while focusing on key moments from each band member's past. Venue Info 1.
