Learn about the Madrone trees in Swan Creek Park
Join Arbutus ARME for a tree walk highlighting one of Tacoma’s most accessible and unique forests. The group plans to walk Swan Creek Park. We launch our adventure from the community garden at 10:00 am.
Explore and learn about the distinctive madrone trees and their allied understory. We will search for the tallest sinuous trees, peeling bark, ripe berries and other gifts of this arboreal cultural icon.
