Bike Ride and Lunch at Son of Thurman to benefit Pelotonia. Registration starts at 7:00 a.m. Lunch will start to be served at Noon. This special event is one of the LAST PELOTONIA TRAINING RIDES! The Son of Thurman Burger Bash Ride is offering great rides with 60, 40 and 20 mile routes and in the price of a Ride and Lunch ticket you get breakfast, lunch and a few refreshing beers along with music provided by a fabulous DJ! This great ride starts off with the 60 mile riders registration at 7:00 AM - the 40 mile riders registration at 9:00 AM and the 20 mile riders registration at 10:00 AM. All riders will enjoy Bagels, Muffins and Coffee before their ride. Routes are timed to bring everyone back for a great lunch featuring the famous Son of Thurman burgers served buffet style. We will also have a Kids Costume Ride around Galena Square with the winning costume and bike receiving $250.00 - the judging starts at Noon. Kids costume riders are for the ages of 3 to 16 years. You can choose to ride, ride and have lunch, have lunch only, bring the little ones to participate in the Kids Costume Ride only or Kids Costume Ride and Lunch. If you cannot attend on the 23rd, you can make a donation or purchase raffle tickets for a week's vacation in a beautiful condo in Myrtle Beach.
