Looking for something new for your landscape? Have some water issues? Why not try a rain garden!A rain garden is a planted depression that is designed to absorb rainwater runoff from impervious urban areas like roofs, driveways, walkways, and compacted lawn areas.University of Maryland Extension, Town of North Beach and the Calvert County Watershed Stewards academy are pleased to offer a free public workshop designed to give participants the basic understanding and hands-on experience of building a rain garden.
