Maryland Board Certified Medication Technician Training Program Become a Maryland certified Healthcare Professional in 20 Hours. Maryland Board of Nursing Certified Medication Technician Training Program presented by Liberated Shells, LL the leading Independent Healthcare Training Solution. The program will train and certify participants as a Maryland Certified Healthcare Professional servicing the Community as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT). The professional may gain employment in a community setting servicing clients requiring Medications Management and/or Medication Therapy Management related to the inability to administer their medications as evidence by their physical, mental/behavioral, and/or cognitive/developmental condition. The certification may be transferred to different States, Countries, and/or Territories. Contact the State Labor Board or Board of Nursing to inquire transfer of certification. The training cost for the initial Med Tech training is $348.00. The training cost for an expired CMT requiring the initial training to become an active status, $378.00. CMTs requiring renewing their certification, the training cost is $138.00. We provide the initial and renewal training monthly. The trainings are 25% in-person and 75% self-paced to complete training assignments. You’ll be required to pass a final exam, which will be scheduled with our nurse instructor. The nurse instructor will provide all information on the first day of training. Each student is required to pass a basic math and comprehensive reading test with a score of 70% or better prior to beginning the training which we provide on the first day. We provide all training material. Participants requirements: Hardware Requirements: -This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac (not included). Students will need to have a device such as but not limited to a Smartphone, Laptop, Tablet, and or iPad. Software Requirements: -PC: Window 8 or later. -Mac: macOS 10.6 or later. -Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible. -Adobe Acrobat Reader. -Java Software must be installed and fully operational before the exam begins. Other: -Email capabilities and access to a personal email account. Training Completion Requirements: -Participants are required to successfully pass the training program within two (2) weeks from the first (1st) day the instructor assigns the training material. Participants are required to successfully pass the prerequisite basic math and comprehensive reading test with a passing score of 70% or greater, complete all assigned training material, pass feedback assignments with a score of 70% or greater, and successfully pass the final exam with score of 70% or greater on the comprehensive aspect and 100% on the skills demonstration. If the participant does not complete the training within the allotted time frame, participant will receive a failed score and unsuccessful course completion. Once the training is completed, you'll receive Certificate of Completion with MBON transaction number to verify successful course completion.
