Yes, you can finish a painting you will be proud of in three hours. Our students are surprised how much they love their finished projects. $49 All supplies are included for this fun class. Learn basic watercolor techniques while creating your own whimsical work on an 11 by 14 inch Arches cold-pressed watercolor paper. This size will fit a pre-cut mat and frame. An experienced art teacher, spacious studio, and limited class size help to provide a creative and supportive environment to explore your own artistic style. A few subjects explored include wet on wet application, glazing, creating soft and hard edges, choosing a color palette that sings, color theory, adding personality with texture, relaxing and staying loose. Light snacks and coffee, tea and water will be served. No drawing or other art experience is necessary. Trace-ables are used to transfer the image. The studio is located in the lower level of the Sanctuary Church and is not wheelchair accessible. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
