Inaugural Greyhound Hike and Social Meetup at Cherry Creek State Park (near the dog park) Calling all greyhounds, their humans, and greyhound-curious people! Hiking Denver With Fast Frens is a social gathering event you won't want to miss! Beginning in April, 2022, we aim to host one urban hike each month through the fall while weather permits. The hikes will all be easy to moderate in difficulty and duration and we will have opportunities to only socialize, or take a smaller walk as each greyhound has its own needs and capabilities, especially those who raced and possibly sustained injuries. Enjoy meeting new greyhound frens and their human companions! We also hope this is a venue to introduce future foster dogs and connect them with forever homes. Hosted by Allison Nuanes of Porchlight Real Estate Group and her rescue greyhound, Pumpkin, this community event aims to create friendships and build awareness of the wonderful greyhound breed.
