Firefighters: A Dire Need For Christmas Toys For East Haven Kids

EAST HAVEN, CT — Firefighters are pleading for the community to help it collect toys for East Haven kids, ages 4 to 10. In a social media post, the East Haven Firefighters Local 1205 said there's a "dire need," for toys for that age range in particular and notes that while some toy drives have gifts earmarked for children in many communities, this toy drive is for East Haven kids only. "Please help us make this very difficult year into a great Christmas for our kids," they wrote. People may drop off unwrapped gifts at the Main Street, Foxon or Momauguin firehouses.
